Just saw Louis Vuitton's fall men's collection and I only have one word to describe it: yum

I want it all. ALL. ALL I TELL YOU ALL!!!!

Alberta Feretti is an amazing designer, whose talent is shown through her new collection exquisitely. Her spring collection can be seen here: http://www.style.com/fashionshows/collections/S2007RTW/complete/thumb/AFERRETT?trend=&page=1

Down came her models each dressed in lovely weightless fabrics that seemed to float across the runway. We know that this is her territory, and once again she excelled in it. However, in some ways I wonder if this collection could be a misstep. The only reason I say this is that she had such an AMAZING collection last season that seemed to take her in another direction than this. Oh well, it is beautiful anyway. Another thing that puzzles me is that all of the chiffon fantasies that she designs don't have THAT much refinement to them, and yet we all know she is amazing at refining outfits. Belted mini-dresses are part of her forté, yet it wasn't too evident in her collection. All I know is that I am eagerly awaiting her fall collection if nothing else to see where she goes next. Her designing capabilities are wonderful, and I know that it shall be great.

Wait....I guess I promised you funny and didn't deliver. Shoot. Oh well, I'll save that for sucky designers! MUAHAHAHAHA. (Note: I can be vicious if I want to be. Seriously, Miranda Priestly would be proud.)

Well...I'd call it booted off the runway, but I think Katy Gerdes already has a blog like that. So....Here we are. In this blog, I will write comments on the designers in the Le Beau Monde competition. Although my opinion doesn't really matter much. Also, I will even have posts on real life designer's collections. I'll make sure that it is interesting and funny, I don't want to bore people to tears...it is a waste of perfectly good tissues. Anywho, lets start the show.
